Space Miner
A recent project of mine required a small cartoon character to be designed and modelled as the game's protagonist. The main requirement of the character was that it had to be wearing an over-sized space helmet.





Once a decent helmet design was complete, work started on the body itself. This turned out to be the easier part of the design, as it needed to be simple and fit in with the style of the helmet.





The character was then modelled and textured and ended up at 1116 triangles with a 256x256 texture map.
